Danny Okoye, the #1 football player in Oklahoma, nation’s #6 defensive end playing out of Tulsa, OK for Noah high school has committed to a big time future to play football at the University of Oklahoma.

Okoye – nicknamed “Danny Phantom” for his ability to “take souls” while tackling the opposition. And don’t sleep on him on the offensive side of the ball either!

Danny Okoye possesses truly elite potential. His work ethic, love for the sport, and his strength, power, and explosiveness are unmatched. At 6`4” and 240lbs, Okoye possesses a remarkable amount of talent and grit and his high energy personality combined with his love for the game and his teammates, makes him truly a star.

It has been said that not a player in Oklahoma can attack and finish a tackle with more aggression and authority than Okoye. He may even resemble some similarities to his favorite player Lawrence Taylor “LT”.

Danny is an athlete, a great football player, but most importantly an amazing young man with a big personality who loves people and wants to win on the field and in life!

On The Field

2023:Danny is in his senior year, finishing strong, before he reports to Norman to play football for the Sooners.

2022:As a junior, recorded 43 tackles, 16 TFL, 6 sacks, 1 INT, and 1 forced fumble. Added 14-64-1 rushing and 6-58-1 receiving.

2021:As a sophomore recorded 78 tackles, 21 TFL, 10.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 fumble recovery. Also returned a punt for a TD.

Off The Field

Danny is a creative person who enjoys reading, working out and interacting with people.

Danny has worked 40 hour work weeks throughout his high school career. He is an ambitious person that believes if you want something you should work hard enough to get it.

Danny is an outgoing person who loves people, enjoys making friends wherever he goes, loves the football fans, good barbecue food and fashion.
